The kick-off meeting of the IPARD publicity and information meetings held within the scope of the "Sectoral Based Publicity Meetings in 16 IPARD Provinces" project was held on December 21, 2020, chaired by the Head of the IPARD Managing Authority, Dr. Osman YILDIZ, using the online meeting platform, with the participation of stakeholders from Ordu and Giresun.
The kick-off meeting of the IPARD publicity and information meetings held within the scope of the "Sectoral Based Publicity Meetings in 16 IPARD Provinces" project was held on December 21, 2020, chaired by the Head of the IPARD Managing Authority, Dr. Osman YILDIZ, using the online meeting platform, with the participation of stakeholders from Ordu and Giresun. ARDSI Provincial Coordinators of 16 IPARD provinces (Ordu, Giresun, Bursa, Kütahya, Erzurum, Kars, Van, Ağrı, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, Çankırı, Kastamonu, Manisa, Aydın, Mardin and Şanlıurfa) participated in the meeting. Moreover the staff responsible for the IPARD program in the Governorates and the Provincial Agriculture and Forestry Directorates in Ordu and Giresun, Turkish Union of Chambers of Agriculture, Agricultural Development Cooperatives, Agricultural Producers Unions, Development Agencies, Municipalities, Chamber of Commerce, LAGs Representatives, potential beneficiaries and members of the local press attended the meeting. The program started with the opening speeches of Dr. Osman YILDIZ, the Head of the IPARD Managing Authority, and the President of Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution Dr. Muhammed ADAK. During the meeting, ARDSI Provincial Coordinators in Ordu and Giresun provinces provided briefings about their activities and work and the IPARD Managing Authority made a presentation on IPARD and the EU Rural Development Program On the other hand, ARDSI central training experts made publicity and informative presentations within the scope of the Measure of Investments in Physical Assets Regarding Processing and Marketing of Agricultural and Fishery Products, Diversification of Farm Activities and Business Development, Investments in Physical Assets of Agricultural Enterprises. In addition, beneficiaries of IPARD-Good Project Practices made presentations about their experiences regarding their projects. The meeting ended with general evaluations, requests and closing remarks.
