THE COMMON AGRICULTURAL POLICY (CAP) MEETINGS WERE HELD IN AFYONKARAHISAR

Meetings coordinated by the Managing Authority for the dissemination of the Common Agricultural Policy Network (NRN) throughout the country have continued. Afyonkarahisar leg of the meetings organized within this scope was held on October 2-6, 2023
. At the first stage of a series of meetings that lasted for a week, information was provided to the core group of Afyonkarahisar CAP, including the Governor of Afyonkarahisar, Assoc. Dr. Kübra Güran YIĞITBAŞI, Deputy Governor Mr. Mehmet KEKLIK, Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Mr. Özkan PARLAK, ARDSI Provincial Coordinator Mr. Zülgari ÖZDEMIR, Zafer Development Agency Provincial Coordinator Mr. Osman KÖPRÜCÜOĞLU and Afyon Kocatepe University FEAS Dean and Zafer Teknopark General Director Prof. Dr. Tugrul KANDEMIR
. Afterwards, the representatives of the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Ministry of Interior Provincial Directorate of Civil Society Relations, Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism and Provincial Directorate of National Education were informed as the focus group of the Common Agricultural Policy activities.
In the process of structuring the Common Agricultural Policy Network, informative presentations were also delivered to stakeholders involved in the rural development of the region. The participants of the meeting included stakeholders such as Zafer Teknopark Co., Şuhut Women's Cooperative, Bayat Women's Cooperative, Chamber of Agriculture, Egg Producers Association, Cattle Breeders Association, Livestock Production Cooperatives Association, Water Buffalo Breeders Association, Beekeepers Association, and Sheep and Goat Breeders Association.
The Directorate General for Agricultural Reform, Managing Authority, will conclude structuring activities of the Common Agricultural Policy in the first half of October, and the Network set up will be completed in a total of 26 regions. ;
