Ipard Managing Authority Carried Out Field Visits To Güdül And Kizilcahamam

GÜDÜL: As part of field visits, a delegation headed by Mr. Dr.Osman YILDIZ, the Deputy Director General of Agricultural Reform - Head of IPARD Managing Authority; visited Güdül Local Action Group Association on November 23, 2022. District Governor Mr. Deniz YILDIRIM, District Mayor Mr. Muzaffer YALÇIN, District Director of Agriculture and Forestry Mr. Hüseyin TANRISEVEN and LAG Director Mr. Mustafa Hikmet KALAYCIOĞLU were present during the visit to Güdül district. On the occasion of the visit, information was received about the services provided to the district by Güdül LAG. Mr. Deniz YILDIRIM and Muzaffer YALÇIN were visited in their offices. Firstly, Güdül Women Entrepreneurs Production and Business Cooperative-Local Tastes Cuisine was visited. At the meeting, where the microclimate potential of Güdül district for local products and their processing was mentioned, views were exchanged on the variety of products (tomato, grape, lemon thyme, goat bacon, roasted chickpea, etc.) and the added value that the products will create through processing, packaging, drying and branding. Güdül LAG association was visited by Mr. YILDIZ and the delegation. A presentation was made by the Director of LAG and emphasis was placed on the activities carried out under the theme "Development of rural tourism products". It has been stated that a feasibility study has been conducted for the development of rural tourism / farm tourism / eco-tourism / health tourism / nature tourism and a tourism feasibility booklet has been prepared. Within the scope of uncovering and developing lost or disappearing handicrafts (traditional clothes, wirework, needlework, soft fabric, wood workshop), emphasis was placed on the importance of our Ministry's LAGs in the district. Information was exchanged about the activities that are being implemented and will be implemented for the production of mohair goat wool and soft fabrics. In addition, the roasted chickpea factory, where the chickpea of great importance for Güdül district was implemented by LAG, was visited and the cooperation and mobilizing importance of LAG's in the district was observed once again. Mr. Osman YILDIZ, Chairman of the Managing Authority, expressed his satisfaction with the activities of LAG. He stated the importance of joint work in Güdül district and villages where there is great potential, and in this context, the Tahtacıörencik village of Güdül district was selected as a pilot with the project for small farmers that we implemented in 2021. He also gave information about the supports of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry for squeezing grapes, making molasses, drying fruits and vegetables, packaging, especially Angora Goats, and also about the IPARD III Program. A meeting was held with the participation of district Agriculture and Forestry Manager Ümit ALKOÇ and LAG members representatives under the chairmanship of Kızılcahamam Deputy Mayor Mr. Yılmaz ÖZBEK. The activities implemented and to be implemented were evaluated in the meeting with wide participation and the representatives of the public education directorate related to bee producers, women's cooperatives, producers dealing with livestock, angora goat and soft fabric. It has been stated that the beekeeping potential of the district and the interest in beekeeping are pleasing. Information was given about the inventory work carried out by the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and the LAG in the villages, and the activities of women's cooperatives, which are of great importance in terms of local products. In addition, women's cooperatives conveyed their demands to the Chairman of the Managing Authority in order to reach their goals faster. One of the important works carried out in 2022 was the soft fabric, which turned into an added value with angora goat wool. For this purpose, the weaving workshops of the public education directorate were visited and information about soft fabric applications and objectives were obtained. Dr. Osman YILDIZ, Chairman of the IPARD Managing Authority, expressed his satisfaction with the work and emphasized the importance of realizing such an important potential as the Ankara Goat both through the work in the district and in cooperation with other LAGS (Güdül, Ayaş, Nallıhan, Kızılcahamam). He stated that the importance given by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to the Angora goat, the breeding studies of our research institutes and the projects to be implemented and the support will continue. The activities to be carried out together with the LAGS, which were established within the scope of the LEADER measure and are the driving force of development in rural areas, will continue to increase in the field. ;
