The preparatory meeting for the 14. IPARD II Monitoring Committee was held on 9th of November, 2022 at Ankara Crowne Plaza Hotel under the chairmanship of Mr Dr. Osman YILDIZ, Deputy General Director of Agricultural Reform - Head of IPARD Managing Authority. EU Commission Officials Mr Frank Bollen and Mr. Krzysztof Sulima, Leyla Alma from the EU Delegation to Turkey, General Coordinators of the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution, representatives of the Directorate for EU Affairs, IPARD Managing Authority and experts from the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution participated in the meeting. At the preparatory meeting, Dr. Osman YILDIZ, Head of the IPARD Managing Authority, briefed the participants about the efforts and projects carried out within the scope of the IPARD Program. A series of briefings were held by the Managing Authority experts on Technical Support Applications and 2023 Action Plan, National Rural Network Applications, Agriculture-Environment, LEADER Applications, Consultancy Services Preparations and Promotional Activities within the scope of activities that were carried out and to be carried out. In addition, presentations were carried out on the “Capacity Building Technical Support Project for the Consulting Services Measure of the IPARD II Program" by the Managing Authority and “Technical Assistance Project for Strengthening the Implementation Capacity of Risk Management and Control Activities” by the ARDSI. After receiving the opinions and suggestions of the European Commission and Delegation representatives on the Program, the meeting finalised to meet again at the Official meeting of the 14th IPARD II Monitoring Committee with broad participation to be held on 10th of November, 2022. ;
