Local Development Strategies (YKS) Evaluation Result List of IPARD Program LEADER Measure 12th Application Call period has been published.

The Evaluations of the Local Development Strategies of the Local Action Groups that applied during the 12th Call period under the Implementation of Local Development Strategies of the IPARD II Program within the framework of the LEADER Measure were completed by the IPARD Managing Authority, and the List of Results has been published at https://ipard.tarim.gov.tr/ and http://www.uka.org.tr/.

Rural development, which is based on the goal of increasing the level of economic well-being and quality of life of the rural population, is important not only for citizens in certain regions but for the whole of society
. For activities to continue at the local level effectively in the field of rural development and to determine policies from floor to ceiling “Implementation of Local Development Strategies - LEADER Approach” is supported in our country within the scope of the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance for Rural Development (IPARD) Program. The execution of the LEADER measure is the responsibility of the General Directorate of Agricultural Reform, which acts as the IPARD Managing Authority
. Through the implementation of Local Development Strategies, it is aimed to diversify rural economic activities, mobilize the countryside, revitalize its cultural and social life, and support new approaches to rural development
. For this purpose, Local Action Groups (LAGs) have been established in the 27 provinces where the IPARD Program is implemented and Local Development Strategies (YKS) have been prepared by these LAGs
. The 12th Call Announcement was issued on January 29, 2022, in order for the LAGs supported by the LEADER measure to benefit from the IPARD Program. Within the scope of this call announcement, LAGS have made their applications with their Local Development strategies that themselves have prepared
. The LAGs that are administratively eligible among the applications have been scored by an independent Evaluation Committee established by the IPARD Managing Authority. All 51 YKSs taken into consideration have been granted.
